Located opposite the Mont Légia hospital complex (CHC group), along the E25 motorway (A602), the LegiaPark consists of two spaces. In this new place with white buildings, a restaurant has just opened: Origins, new flagship of catering The Courses under the attentive and dynamic leadership of Joël Rademaker. It celebrates the taste of the essential. An elegant yet lively restaurant, reinterpreting brasserie classics with modernity and sincerity. Seasonal, grounded, human, demanding yet accessible cuisine. An unpretentious place that welcomes you. Simply the true taste of the ingredients. And the pleasure of doing things well.

For Origins, the chief Frédéric Salpetier The L'Héliport Brasserie offers a menu that pays homage to the Liège and Belgian terroir, revisited with finesse and modernity, providing an authentic and refined culinary experience. Frédéric embodies a cuisine where tradition and creativity meet. Trained by renowned figures such as Robert Lesenne and Yves Mattagne, he honed his craft in prestigious establishments in Belgium and Switzerland. His cuisine, acclaimed by the Michelin Guide, is distinguished by a mastery of flavours and a particular attention to seasonal produce.

An impressive place of calm and serenity offers a double terrace (mixing sun and shade as you wish) before entering the dining room with its certain charms, complemented by subtle latticework which allows for both intimacy and a meeting place that exudes coolness and modernity. Don't forget to linger in front of the wine cellar, a veritable welcoming masterpiece: good advice will be given, «terroir in our veins,» highlighting Belgium and France. The medallion accompanying the name represents roots, a powerful symbol of origin and connection to the living. These roots embody a vibrant and deep establishment in the Belgian terroir, an attachment to local products and the artisans who shape the region.

As a prelude, you're offered a few «to share» dishes, a great idea at aperitif time: cured ham, oysters, crispy bites, trout mousse, ... Among the starters, we opted for a lovely foie gras terrine and a flavoursome smoked salmon accompanied by cream. An enticing selection of well-chosen grills is available for enthusiasts. The dishes, quite classic, offer meatballs, veal blanquette, veal kidneys (delicious!), hand-cut tartare, and cod with white butter. All presented with care and smiles: well done!
