They open, they close…

I'm bringing you some news from our regions. I haven't had the chance to visit these establishments yet, but I'll keep you updated as I go. Unfortunately, another aspect: closures that have occurred in recent months.

• Their restaurant « Telle mère, telle fille » on Rue des Clarisses in Liège having suffered a fire last year, the Massin family (Benoit, Julien and their mum) are making a comeback with a completely different setting and concept. They have therefore taken over the former Youyou, place des Grands Champs on the heights of Saint-Gilles: this is called Piazza Restaurant. Italy takes centre stage: pizzas, fresh pasta and classics are on display. I've already received some glowing feedback ahead of my next visit. Rue des Grands-Champs 2, Saint-Nicolas. 04.388.28.13.
• In place of the old Val d’Oxhe, a brand new building has just been completed: the F-eat. Looking at the photos, I was already won over by the style adopted, happily blending classic and contemporary inspiration, which is incredibly appealing. They proudly announce that « Each season becomes a new inspiration, each dish a sincere experience, driven by authentic taste and the pleasure of sharing »According to the market, lunch is presented at €38. • A stone's throw from the Batte, Fabrice Malpas (well known to local gourmets) has opened a new establishment: At Grandma's whose friendliness and welcoming nature will surprise you. Among the closures, let's mention: Villa des Bégards in Embourg, Cosi CI am from Liège, Tavern in and from Trooz, About in Neupré. Potential resumptions are already being planned: to be continued...
