The Chefs' Tent and its 9 gourmet meals
During the Whit weekend (from Thursday 5th to Monday 9th), the Epicuriales are set up in the Boverie Park. High-quality gourmet meals will be prepared by the various guest chefs, in the heart of the Chefs tent which will be specially reserved for them in a surprising bucolic setting opposite the pond (tent 19). Every day, at noon and 7:30 PM, a four or five-course meal, prepared by four or six hands, will showcase the incredible talent of these outstanding chefs. The ideal opportunity to discover great foreign chefs, such as Mehdi Kebboul, guest chef of honour in 2022, a proponent of honest and colourful cuisine, André Le Letty, guest chef of honour in 2019 and owner of Bistro du Maquis at the foot of Montmartre, Jean-Marc Notelet, also a former guest of honour chef, the spice specialist and former chef of Caïus in Paris with unbridled inventiveness, or indeed this year's guest of honour chefs, Alexis Voisenet * as well as Julien and Nicolas Durand.
This year, Épicuriales is delighted to announce the return of the Michelin-starred chef Philippe Fauchet and his eponymous restaurant, who will be accompanied by the Michelin-starred chef from Hainaut Benoit Neusy (« Eole’s Imperative »). Let’s also mention emerging young talents in Liège gastronomy, such as Hélène Thiry (the «Merry»), Vincenzo Calderone (the «Walio»), Anaïs Marchettini (Home chef The Laurels), Charm Nomadic Indonesian chef, Josephine Renard or else Simon Bouille (Carpe Diem), sure bets like Yannick Bougnet Yannick's Kitchen, Olivier Tucki Hostellerie Lafarques, Luc Marchant and Fabrice Miserotti (the «Golden Horse»), Benoit Massin (e.g. «Like mother, like daughter», with her new project «Piazza») and the loyal Thomas Mordant (with his new challenge at the «Crisoli»), or even Manu Bejar (l’« Olivier des Sens »), as well as representing the very active catering sector, Agron Billa (« Traiteur Goosse ») and Luc Delvaux, artisan caterer and private chef. Not to mention a name as prestigious in the Liège region as that of the loyal friend of Épicuriales Michel Germeau !
During each service (a starter and a main course at lunchtime / two starters and a main course in the evening), the meal concludes with a tasting of a selection of cheesesCheeseand the frozen dessert, the work of Arthur M'Rabet. The essential espresso will be prepared by Charles Liégeois. A delightful wine list will be offered in collaboration with our trusted partner, the house Toby Vins.
