In the heart of Liège, at Place Saint Paul, from Wednesday 25 June at 4 pm until Monday 14 July! A delightful taste of the holidays right in the city centre!

With pétanque at the heart of the Village, of course, and musical entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings...

summer is on the sunny horizon, and the Gallic Village 2025 announces, at the end of June, to kick off the holiday season in Liège!

The thirtieth edition of an event that has created its own tradition on the eve of the holidays in Liège, this Village with French and Walloon colours is driven at full speed by fifty valiant Gauls, fans of enchanting magic potions and spit-roast wild boar, to be enjoyed without moderation! 

Forget the exams and the hard graft in overheated offices: make way for shaded terraces, the song of the cicadas and the coolness of a Village that has found its footing and is gaining more and more fervent followers, eagerly awaiting the opening of these far-from-anonymous chalets, synonymous with conviviality right in the heart of the city…

The Central Space and its podium, the heart of the Village with its musical entertainment

This central space, in the form of a Provencal terrace, has the mission of radiating and animating the entire Gallic Village. musical animations Suitable and high-quality events will be regularly organised in the early evening from this terrace, initiated by LFM radio (101.8 and 105.4 FM) and with the support of the Province of Liège.

Friendly pétanque tournaments

Gallic Village 2025 in Liège

At the unanimous request of the public and the exhibiting ‘chalet owners’, the famous pétanque pistes will of course be back this year and will be the setting for many friendly contests. Outside of tournaments and concert periods, the pétanque lanes will be freely available to visitors, with the boules and the jack to be collected from the neighbouring French Charities chalet (a glass of Côtes du Rhône or pastis would be most welcome to lighten the competitors' arms!).

Le Village Gaulois, with friends, family, or after work, it will be the Liège back-to-school meeting spot!
