Beneath the foliage of Li\u00e8ge's most beautiful park, at the foot of the \u00abBelle Li\u00e9geoise\u00bb footbridge and a stone's throw from the Meuse, about twenty tents are set up, kitchens are lit, and the entire city seems to come to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>\u00c9picuriales in Li\u00e8ge<\/strong>, These are five days of outdoor gastronomy. Not a market, not a food fair: a true gastronomic festival where renowned Li\u00e8ge restaurateurs offer the best of their cuisine under their tents. A stroll that you create at your own pace, according to your desires and discoveries... and which you repeat the next day, differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, the \u00c9picuriales will celebrate their <strong>21st edition<\/strong>. The appointment is scheduled from <strong>21 to 25 May<\/strong>, at the Boverie Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The principle: composing your meal from tent to tent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea is simple, and that's probably what makes it so charming. You arrive, you wander, you observe. You choose your starter in one tent, your main course in a second, your dessert in a third. No assigned table, no set menu: each visitor creates their own experience, according to their desires and the day's specials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 18 restaurateurs present represent the diversity and richness of Li\u00e8ge's culinary scene: from refined bistronomy to world cuisine, from local produce to more creative dishes. The line-up changes from one edition to the next, but the standards remain constant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What also makes \u00c9picuriales unique is that invitation to come back. A first visit to explore, a second to delve deeper, a third to make sure you don\u2019t miss what you missed before. Five days, and never quite the same festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three spaces, three experiences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the 2025 edition onwards, \u00c9picuriales will be organised around three complementary themes. Three different ways to dine, three distinct atmospheres, all under one roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Restaurants: 18 tables under a marquee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of the festival, <strong>18 restaurateurs from Li\u00e8ge<\/strong> they set up their kitchens under canvas for five days. Each offers its own menu, its own style, its own identity\u2026 and it is precisely this diversity that makes the stroll so rich. You can wander freely, compare, and return. Prices generally range between 12 and 28 euros per plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To discover the tables for the 2026 edition, go to the page for the <strong><a href=\"\/en\/restaurants\/\">Restaurants<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9picuriales Plaza: the gourmet food court<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the entrance to the festival, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epicuriales.be\/en\/epicuriales-plaza\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"37742\">Plaza<\/a><\/strong> offers a different way to enjoy the \u00c9picuriales festival. Nine chefs listed in Gault&amp;Millau each serve a signature dish at a fixed price \u2013 \u20ac16 \u2013 served as a buffet under the marquee or on the large shaded terrace (350 seats in total). The atmosphere is more relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a friendly break between walks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Chef's Tent: the gastronomic experience by reservation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Facing the park pond, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epicuriales.be\/en\/chefs-tent\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"39178\">Chefs tent<\/a><\/strong> Each lunchtime and evening, an exceptional meal is proposed. Two or three chefs \u2013 Belgian, French or Dutch \u2013 share the same open kitchen and together compose a four or five-course menu. A meal with four or six hands, in an intimate setting of 70 covers, by reservation only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services take place every day at 12:30 PM and 7:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Come once, return always<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visit to \u00c9picuriales is rarely a one-off experience. It might be a first visit on a Thursday evening, an unplanned lunch on a Saturday, or a chef you discover by chance and will be talking about for a long time to come.
